What happens if my license is deactivated?
You will no longer be able to use the plugin on the website where this license key was registered. The plugin modules will not be visible and you will also not receive any version updates on this website.
What are the reasons for a license to be deactivated?
1. You manually deregistered your license key
It’s possible to do so in the plugin's admin area. This will cause the license to be deactivated on the corresponding website.
2. You deregistered/registered your license key too many times in a short time
This can cause your license key to get locked temporarily. Each license key can be used to unlock all features on ONE domain plus staging sites and localhost environments.
3. Domain/migration reasons
Your license can also be deactivated automatically when doing the following:
- You copied your database from one server to another.
- There are multiple domains that refer to the same WordPress installation.
- You switched the domain of your WordPress installation.
The above problems can be remedied by simply deactivating the domain on your old website’s domain. If you don't have access anymore to that dashboard, please contact us and we will find the fitting solution.
4. Multiple Domains pointing to one WordPress installation (Multilanguage Websites)
Please contact us to look into your special case and we will find the fitting solution.
5. Your license is revoked because the license terms were violated
The license can be revoked by us in case the license is used in such a way that it is violating the terms and conditions of the license. If your license is revoked, you will see this message when you try to activate the plugin again using the same code.
