Automatically receive new updates
You can enable the auto-updater by adding your license code on the settings page of the plugin. When new versions are available (and your site meets the minimal requirements) updates will automatically show up on the default WordPress update page in the Administrator Dashboard [Dashboard] -> [Updates].
If you don't see an update available, try to press the Check Again button.
If you want WordPress to always update the plugin fully automatically once a new version becomes available navigate to Plugins Screen. For each plugin, there is an “Automatic update” column with an action link used to enable/disable auto-updates plugin by plugin.
Click on this action link to enable auto-updates for each specific plugin.
Update the plugin manually
If you have trouble updating the plugin via the auto-updater (some multi sites setups have issues), you can always grab the plugin package via your Envato account. You can download the package via the 'Download' section via the Account menu.
Install the downloaded ZIP package it in your WordPress Admin Dashboard via Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin
. Select the the ZIP package and press Install Now
.
Note: It is not required to deactivate/uninstall the current version as WordPress will replace it automatically with the new one. If you want to uninstall the current one first, please make sure that you disable the Delete settings on Uninstall
setting on Advanced
tab of the plugin settings.
Note:
The plugin you have downloaded via CodeCanyon isn't always the latest version for various reasons. Minor updates are mainly only distributed via the build-in WordPress auto-updater. Major releases will of course always be available on CodeCanyon as well at least within two weeks after the release.
